The Brand
Mucho Beverage Co. is a new Canadian mocktail and cocktail brand that aims to bring fun, community and connection through its products and ethos.
The slightly strange heart is the symbol of the brand and the community it fosters. I decided to pierce it on an agave spear and frame the composition unusually in a portal shaped container to give insight into the agave cultivation process and to enforce the idea that the heart of product is the raw ingredient, which is infused with Mucho - this connection, energy and magic. On the back of the can is a coa, a traditional agave harvesting tool. This also features 2 of those enticing, strangely pierced hearts.
The can design takes advantage of the gold coloured can, with the heart allowing the raw material to shine through.
Bold colours create instant flavour association and recognition, while helping the product stand out in a world of bland canned beverages.
